1945 Indian period film directed by Satyashiva. The film stars Rana Daggubati and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles of Sathyaraj, Nazar, Kali Venkat, Saptagiri, Sampath Ram, Leisha Eclairs, and many more. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music, Satya Ponmar provided the cinematography and Gopi Krishna did the editing. The film was produced by SN Rajarajan under the banner of K Productions.

Movie Story:

The story takes place in 1945 in Burma. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose plans to launch INA to fight the British. It is also time for Adi as Rana Daggubati to return to Burma to look after his family business. Upon his arrival, he has engaged to be the daughter (Regina) of the British Tahsildar (Nazar). He is getting married, the British are increasing their atrocities and Adi has to fight the British. What he did and how he confronted the powerful British soldiers from the story.

Movie Review:

The basic point of the film and the pre-independence setting is good. Better than the narrative, the visuals, production design, and locations used are much better. Rana worked very hard in his role and did well in the fight scenes. Saptagiri, who plays Rana in the right-handed role, shares some fun. Nazar was impressed as a government employee. Regina has impressed with her performance in the traditional role and got the scope to act. Sathyaraj was fine but could not find much screen time to act. The basic emotions required for any patriotic film are completely missed here. Every revolt plan by Rana against the British appears to have been forced.

With no drama at all and Rana having issues with the makers, he did not even mention dubbing for the film. It slowed down the tempo from the first half. In many scenes, Rana appeared without a face. There is no justification for the way things are going between the British and the Rana uprising. The movie ended abruptly due to a lack of climax. All in all, 1945 was a sudden and unscientific patriotic play without a basic punch. Rana appears to be utterly uninterest in doing a sleepwalk in his role. The film has involved in making for many years and the dull and compelling scenes prove the depressing attitude of the film.
