Superstar Rajinikanth’s eagerly-awaited rural drama Annatte’s trailer was released on Wednesday, October 27. This trailer introduces us to Surakottai Panchayat President Kalaiyyan, where the story takes place. Kirti Suresh appears as Rajinikanth’s sister and opposite him, Nayantara plays the romantic lead. Khushboo and Meena are joint family members. As the trailer progresses, makers Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, and Abhimanyu Singh play a brief overview of the opponents. An important part of the film is set in Kolkata.
Movie Story:
Katha Panchayat President Kalian as Rajinikanth is affectionately addressed as Annaatthe by everyone around him and revolves around his sister Tanga Meenachchi (Keerthi Suresh). Meenatchi returns to the village after completing his studies in Kolkata. Kalyan decided to arrange a match for Meenachchi. After the marriage fate intervened, the brother and sister separated. Later, Kalyan finds her sister in Kolkata, where he finds her in serious trouble. Did he save his sister from suffering? The rest of the story has to be seen on the big screen.

Annaatthe, starring superstar Rajinikanth hit theaters on November 4 during Diwali. A few days after its theatrical release, the film has now started airing on Netflix India and Sun NXT. Movie Review:
The first half of Annaatthe runs at a leisurely pace with the reassuring sentiment of the film and the unnecessary comedy scenes featuring Khushboo, Meena, Satish, Suri, and others. Nayantara looks very pretty and serious as a lawyer, but she has very little to do, and that is Rajinikanth. Kirti Suresh is serious but as mentioned earlier, most melodrama takes away something new.
Looking at the positives– superstar Rajinikanth looks very smart and young, his dialogue delivery, body language, and comic lines are a treat to watch, but after a point, things get repetitive and predictable. The second good thing about the movie is the Imman songs but the background score is very loud and roaring in many places and some dialogues are not heard. The break ends with a bang, the second half being so loud and loud that it tests our patience and we slowly lose interest in the proceedings. The bottom line about Annaatthe is that despite the retrieval of the old Rajini procedure, the enjoyment we noticed in those days was not in this 2021 film.
