Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea movie is an epic historic war film. Which has written and directed by Priyadarshan. This movie has produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banners of Aashirvad Cinemas, Confident Group, and Moonshot Entertainments. The film features Mohanlal, Arjun Sarja, Suniel Shetty, and Prabhu. Featuring Mohanlal as the main lead, Marakkar follows the narrative of Kunjali Marakkar IV, naval commandant of the Samoothiri, known for safeguarding the Malabar Coast against the Portuguese attack in the sixteenth century. The film is directed by Priyadarshan.
