Vaathi an action drama movie directed by Venky Atluri. The movie casts Dhanush, Samyuktha Menon, Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, and many others are in the lead roles. The music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar while the cinematography done by Dinesh Krishnan and it edited by Navin Nooli. The movie produced by Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments – Fortune Four Cinemas banner.

The makers of Vaathi movie have already released two songs, Vaathi and Natodi Mannan. Dhanush plays Balamurgan, a junior school teacher in Vaathi, which also stars Sai Kumar, Nara Srinivas, Samudharkani, Thotapalli Madhu, Pammi Sai, Hyper Adi, Shara, Aadulam Naren, Ilavarasu, Mota Rajendran, Harish Peradi and Praveena.

Tamil actor Dhanush’s first straight movie Sir is out from the December race. Dhanush who had a series of releases this year asked the makers to release the film next year. Sir is now all set to hit the screens on February 17th, 2023. Vaathi the title locked for the film in Tamil. Venky Atluri is the director and Samyuktha is the heroine in this social drama.

Dhanush’s action avatar teased earlier in the stills and now, he seen in the midst of all the action in the new posters. In one of the Vaathi ‘s posters, Dhanush was in the center in his get-up while bodies of people seen lying on the ground around him. In the other still, he seen sitting on the steps, with the spotlight on him. In this movie song Mastaru is viral on all social media platforms.
